MET Technician - 4 on 4 off shift (12-hour shifts)
Location: AAR Warrington, 1030 Europa Blvd, Westbrook, Warrington WA5 7YW Department: Activate Accident Repair Contract type: Permanent
About the Role
We’re seeking a MET Technician to contribute to our Activate Accident Repair team. As part of Activate Group, a rapidly expanding UK business with over 1,000+ team members, we’re looking for individuals committed to long-term career growth while working in a values-driven organisation that fosters development.
The MET Technician will prioritise dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles in strict compliance with manufacturer specifications, delivering set standards and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute repairs as documented in the vehicle estimate, including the removal of damaged components in preparation for further work
- Refit repaired or replaced parts, returning the vehicle to its pre-accident condition
- Maintain and uphold the highest quality standards in all repairs
- Achieve manufacturer’s or estimated repair times efficiently
- Reports and documents all faults, defects, and issues encountered during vehicle service
- Accurately logs used parts, materials, and consumables for process and cost tracking

Qualifications & Experience
Essential Skills & Qualification
- Qualified MET Technician ( ATA/CTP or NVQ Level 3 completion preferred )
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with teams and customers
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving ability in high-precision work
- Excellent health and safety (H&S) knowledge and awareness
- Proven time management skills to meet deadlines within shift constraints
- Relevant industry experience as a repair technician, ideally within vehicle accident repair
