Job Title: MET Technician – Accident Repair Bodyshop

Location: Milton Keynes, MK15
Salary: Up to £52,500 (depending on experience and qualifications) + time saved bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday – 42.5 Hours a week

Our client is a well established and respected independent Accident Repair bodyshop who deals with all the major insurance companies, due to continued growth they are now looking to add an additional MET Technician for their Accident Repair Bodyshop in Milton Keynes.

The Role

As an MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the mechanical, electrical and trim repairs required on a wide range of vehicles following accident damage. Working alongside a skilled team of technicians, panel beaters and painters, you will ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out the removal and refitting of mechanical, electrical and trim components.
  • Diagnosing vehicle faults and ensuring all repairs are completed correctly.
  • Repairing and replacing damaged vehicle components.
  • Working with modern vehicle systems including ADAS and electrical systems.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Liaising with workshop control and management teams to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair/bodyshop environment.
  • ATA or Level 3 accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence.
