MET (Mechanical, Electrical and Trim) Vehicle Technician

Birmingham

£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus | Permanent

Red Recruitment Group are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced MET Technician to join their team in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician looking to join an established business with a strong reputation and the opportunity to increase earnings through a bonus scheme.

The Role

As an MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs to vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer and company procedures.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs to vehicles
  • Removing and refitting mechanical and electrical components
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
  • Working alongside other technicians and repair teams
  • Ensuring all repairs meet required quality and safety standards
  • Completing work within agreed timescales
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Following relevant health & safety and manufacturer guidelines

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working as an MET Technician
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Experience with vehicle strip and refit
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve faults
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A full UK driving licence
