MET (Mechanical, Electrical and Trim) Vehicle Technician
Birmingham
£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus | Permanent
Red Recruitment Group are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced MET Technician to join their team in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician looking to join an established business with a strong reputation and the opportunity to increase earnings through a bonus scheme.
The Role
As an MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs to vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer and company procedures.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs to vehicles
- Removing and refitting mechanical and electrical components
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
- Working alongside other technicians and repair teams
- Ensuring all repairs meet required quality and safety standards
- Completing work within agreed timescales
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following relevant health & safety and manufacturer guidelines

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as an MET Technician
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Experience with vehicle strip and refit
- Ability to diagnose and resolve faults
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
