Location: Liverpool

Salary: £39,520 basic per year

Earnings: Up to £42,520 per year with monthly team bonus

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, 40 hours per week

Benefits: £250 monthly team bonus, Monday-to-Friday hours, long-term stability and a supportive working environment

ISQ Recruitment is looking for an experienced MET Technician / Strip and Fit Technician to join a well-established and expanding accident repair centre in Liverpool.

This is a newly created position resulting from business growth and increased repair volumes. You will focus on stripping and refitting vehicle components, while mechanical repairs and specialist electrical diagnostics are handled by dedicated colleagues.

The Role

You will complete a variety of accident repair work, including substantial front-end and rear-end repairs, door replacements and vehicle rebuilds. Quality workmanship is prioritised, giving you the opportunity to complete repairs properly and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strip and refit vehicle components during accident repairs
  • Complete front-end and rear-end strip-and-fit work
  • Remove, replace and correctly align doors and body components
  • Safely disconnect and reconnect associated electrical components
  • Reassemble vehicles accurately and efficiently
  • Work closely with panel beaters, paint technicians and mechanical specialists
  • Help the bodyshop achieve its monthly quality and productivity targets

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as an MET Technician, Strip and Fit Technician or Bodyshop Technician
  • ATA accreditation or an NVQ Level 3 qualification
  • Confidence completing front-end, rear-end and door-related repairs
  • Sufficient automotive electrical knowledge to strip and rebuild vehicle components correctly
  • Strong attention to detail and a right-first-time approach
  • A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude
  • A genuine interest in securing a stable, long-term position
