MET Technician
We are recruiting for an experienced MET Technician, Mechanical Electrical Trim Technician or Bodyshop Technician to join a busy accident repair centre in Truro. Applicants must have previous MET experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. IMI accreditation or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
Location: Truro, Cornwall
Salary: £35,000 Basic
OTE: £50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm No weekends (however there is overtime available)

MET Technician Role
- Carry out Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) repairs and replacement work
- Remove and refit vehicle components during the accident repair process
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete repairs safely and efficiently within agreed timescales
- Work to required industry, insurance and repair standards
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure required parts are available
- Maintain high standards of workmanship throughout every repair

MET Technician Requirements
- Previous experience as a MET Technician within a bodyshop or accident repair centre
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy accident repair environment
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- IMI accreditation or an equivalent qualification is desirable
