ISQ Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced MET Technician / Stripper & Fitter to join a well-established automotive accident repair business in Weston-super-Mare.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fully skilled MET Technician, Bodyshop Technician, or Stripper & Fitter who can confidently remove, refit, and replace mechanical, electrical, and trim components across a varied range of vehicles.

You will join a busy workshop working on a mixture of cars, light commercial vehicles, and fleet vehicles, completing strip and fit work to a consistently high standard.

The Role

As an MET Technician, you will be responsible for dismantling vehicles before repair, identifying damaged components, and rebuilding vehicles once panel and paint work has been completed.

You will work closely with Panel Beaters, Vehicle Painters, and other members of the bodyshop team to ensure vehicles move efficiently through the repair process and are completed safely, accurately, and on time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
