Position: Vehicle Technician - Independent Site
Location: Durham
Salary: Up to £42,000 plus bonus depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: Full-time position MONDAY TO FRIDAY ONLY
Overview:
Join our team as a Vehicle Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles. We are looking for a skilled individual with mechanical knowledge and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize schematics and hand tools to diagnose and repair vehicle issues
- Perform maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition
- Conduct equipment repairs and utilize power tools as needed
- Weld and assemble vehicle components accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly
- Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks when required

Skills:
- Proficient in mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems
- Experience with schematics for troubleshooting purposes
- Competent in using hand tools effectively
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and repair various types of equipment
- Skilled in utilizing power tools for efficient repairs
- Welding experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients
- Capable of heavy lifting tasks as part of the job requirements
