Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Metal Fabricator / Welder role based in Marden. The Metal Fabricator / Welder will cut, shape, weld, and assemble metal components for equipment, pipework, and access structures, following technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include:

- Operating fabrication machinery and tools
- Preparing materials
- Performing welding to required standards
- Carrying out finishing tasks such as grinding and deburring
- Inspecting completed work for accuracy and quality
- Maintaining a safe and organized workspace
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines

The successful candidate will contribute to the production of high-quality engineering solutions for water and aggregate industry clients and other customers.
Qualifications
- Strong metalworking skills, including cutting, forming, and welding of steel and stainless steel.
- Proficient in using hand tools and grinding equipment for fabrication and finishing work.
- Experienced in operating power tools and fabrication machinery safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform forklift operation or other material handling tasks (certification an advantage).
- Previous experience as a metal fabricator, welder, or in a similar engineering workshop environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication specifications.
- Understanding of workshop health and safety practices and commitment to safe working procedures.
- Good attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant vocational training or qualifications in welding, fabrication, or engineering are beneficial.
