About The Role
Our client is a leading international manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa. As a Metal Finisher, you'll join a professional team where precision, quality, and craftsmanship are at the core of everyday work. This is a shift-based position, giving you the opportunity to work with advanced machinery and develop your finishing skills in a supportive environment.
Your Responsibilities
As a Metal Finisher, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Producing finished items in a timely and efficient way
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure accuracy
- Preparing components and equipment for the required finishing process
- Finishing and polishing metals (copper, stainless steel, aluminium) to a high standard
- Performing regular quality checks to maintain consistency
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times
- Maintaining responsibility for your own work area

What We're Looking For
To succeed as a Metal Finisher, you should bring:
- Previous experience in metal finishing (linishing, graining, deburring, polishing)
- Knowledge of Twin Belt Grainers, Linishers, and Pad Sanders
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for quality
- Experience using hand tools, experience with grinders and polishing guns
- Responsibility and pride in keeping your work area safe and organised
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Shifts
Days: 06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 on Friday
Shifts: 06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 on Friday and 14.00-22.00 Monday to Thursday and 13.00-20.00 on Friday (20 minutes break) Rotating fortnightly.
39 hrs per week + possible overtime
Days: A GBP 15.13 per hour
Early and Late shifts: A GBP 16.86 per hour

This Metal Finisher role is based in Leamington Spa with parking available.
