Metal Spinner Position

Winward Engineering Limited is looking for an experienced Metal Spinner to join our busy manufacturing team in Aldridge, Walsall.

We have specialised in metal spinning for over 80 years, producing components in aluminium, brass, steel and a range of specialist materials. Our work includes everything from small quantities and challenging one-off components to high-volume, scheduled production.

We are looking for someone with experience in either hand spinning or hydraulic metal spinning. Experience across both methods would be an advantage. PNC/CNC metal spinning experience would also strengthen your application.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing a range of metal-spinning operations on a wide variety of components
  • Working to customer drawings, specifications and quality requirements
  • Producing both small-batch and repeat-production work
  • Maintaining your dedicated workspace to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
  • Working safely and taking pride in the quality of your finished work
  • Working collaboratively with our other metal spinners to meet production and quality targets

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am to 12:30pm
