Metals Broker — Middle East Metals | London

We're mandated on a Commodity Broker hire for a UK-based, FCA-regulated outsourced trading desk, providing institutional clients, proprietary traders, and commercial hedgers with access to global derivatives and physical-linked markets — without the cost or complexity of building in-house trading infrastructure.

This track is focused on Middle East metals— base and/or precious.

The role:

  • Originate and onboard institutional, prop, and commercial hedging clients within your metals corridor
  • Manage and grow a portable book, acting as the primary point of contact for execution and clearing
  • Provide market color, pricing, and risk management input tailored to client hedging needs
  • Stay ahead of regulatory, exchange, and liquidity developments across Middle East metals markets

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll be selling into a platform that owns its own clearing infrastructure, not just an execution shop, giving you a genuine edge when approaching clients who want one relationship for both trading and clearing.

This is a rare opportunity to join a broker-agnostic platform with institutional execution and clearing already built — you focus on the client relationship!
