My client is a firmly established SME manufacturing company focused on the supply of metal-based components across a range of sectors. They are seeking a Metrology Engineer to join their existing team. As a Metrology Engineer, you will be focusing on measuring NPI parts, quality inspection, operating, setting and calibrating CMM equipment.
Metrology Engineer Responsibilities
- Operating, setting, and calibrating CMM equipment
- Measuring production and NPI parts
- Input into the NPI, APQP, PPAP processes
- Ensure that parts meet technical and industry specifications
- Analyse measurement data and identify areas of improvement

Metrology Engineer Requirements
- Previous experience working within a Metrology or CMM position
- Experienced in using metrology laboratory equipment
- Must have a good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Must be a team player
- Able to program and calibrate metrology machinery
