Security Officer
Permanent, 36 hours per week
NHS Grampian is looking to recruit a suitably skilled and experienced individual to join the Security Team.
Based within the Facilities Sector, this team plays a key role in ensuring the ongoing safety and security of patients, staff and visitors across a range of NHS Grampian premises in Aberdeen City.
Based at Foresterhill Campus, the service operates on a 24/7 basis, working a mix of day and night shifts, and are responsible for carrying out a range of duties from routine site patrols to dealing with incidents of violence and aggression where there is a need to carry out control and restraint.

Requirements
Applicants for the post must be educated to HND Level or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience working in a similar Security, Police or military role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to be able to carry out the role safely. Must have the ability to carry out aspects of the role.
