About the Role
Narrative 4 is looking for an experienced individual to take responsibility for Narrative 4's direct charitable expenditure in the UK. You will be responsible for Direct Charitable Expenditure and managing funds received from GivingWorks our Micro-Trust.
What Difference Will You Make?
As a trustee with experience of applying for grants, fund raising and managing charitable funds you can help build on our foundations stones to create charitable status for Narrative 4 in the UK this year. Your role is essential for ensuring Narrative 4 can receive charitable giving in the UK, apply for grants and receive funds to pay for planned projects across the education sector. This will enable Narrative 4 to continue to reduce polarisation, increase empathy and create civic engagement projects with students across the UK.

We would like you to apply for this role if you have a strong financial or legal background who understands the relationship between a parent charity and a micro trust. Your role will involve overseeing and signing off grant applications, co-ordinating with fundraising and applying for funds from a parent charity. Any previous experience of running a micro-trust would be a bonus.
What Will You Be Doing?
Responsibilities
- Applications for Funding: Oversee and approve applications for funding from GivingWorks, our parent Charity.
- Grant Coordination: Work alongside Narrative 4 staff to apply for grants and find opportunities to raise funds.
- Distribution of Funds: Overall responsibility for the distribution of funds once granted from GivingWorks.
- Relationship Management: Manage the relationship between GivingWorks and the Micro Trust Narrative 4.
- Financial Guidance: Instruct Trustees on how funds are to be applied.
- Financial Relationship Management: Manage the financial relationship between GivingWorks and Narrative 4 Micro-Trust.

Role Overview
As a Micro-Trust Holder you'll have an essential role in contributing toward the future direction of Narrative 4 in the UK making a real difference to the lives of students in schools, colleges and universities.
This year we are looking to establish Narrative 4 as a Charity in the UK in order to expand our volunteer network across the education system in the UK, giving young people skills to harness the power of stories to drive change in their communities. Your role will enable Narrative 4 to function effectively as a charity in the UK expanding this opportunity to children across the country.
