About You
We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate who is keen to develop a career within pharmaceutical microbiology.
Essential:
- Degree (or expected degree completion) in a Science-related discipline, preferably Microbiology, Biology, Biomedical Science, or a related subject.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- A willingness to learn and work within a GMP-regulated environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:
- Practical microbiology laboratory experience gained through university studies, placements, or internships.
- Experience using laboratory equipment and standard microbiological techniques.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical or GMP environments.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements such as GMP, ICH, and COSHH.

As the role involves managing a high volume of samples within a fast-paced laboratory environment, you will be expected to:
- Effectively organise and prioritise your workload, with support and guidance from your line manager.
- Adapt to changing priorities and business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Maintain awareness of workload demands and communicate any challenges or resource requirements to management in a timely manner.
- Produce clear, accurate, and compliant documentation with strong attention to detail and legibility.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.
- Embrace and promote a "right first time" culture, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with GMP requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to support the successful manufacture of life-changing medicines.

Hours:
- 8-hour shifts (30-minute unpaid break), paid overtime, excellent staff benefits
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
