Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Microscope Service Technician. The technician will perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on a wide range of optical microscopes and associated imaging equipment. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, conducting field service visits to customer sites, documenting work performed, and ensuring equipment meets performance and safety standards. The role involves communicating with customers to assess issues, provide status updates, and offer basic user guidance on care and operation of microscopes. The technician will collaborate with the service team to prioritize requests, manage parts and tools, and support continuous improvement of service processes.
