Microsoft 365 Engineer (Microsoft Copilot)
£450 per day PAYE + Holiday Pay
Initial 3-Month Contract
Hybrid Working | London
Robert Half is supporting a global risk consulting firm in the search for an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to join an initial 3-month engagement supporting a major end client. This role will suit a hands-on Microsoft 365 specialist with strong experience across the M365 ecosystem and recent exposure to Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio within enterprise environments.
Ideally, you'll have experience operating within regulated environments such as Financial Services, Insurance or Banking, with a strong understanding of governance, security and compliance requirements.
Contract Details
- Initial 3-month contract
- Hybrid working in London c.2 days a week on site
- £400-450 plus 12.07% per day PAYE holiday pay (No umbrella company fees or deductions)
- Immediate start preferred (1-2 week turnaround from initial application through to final approval, subject to completion of all documentation and checks)
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert across Microsoft 365 technologies including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Intune and Entra ID.
- Support the implementation, configuration and optimisation of Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio.
- Design, build and support secure Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with governance and compliance requirements.
- Deliver technical solutions covering identity, collaboration, messaging and endpoint management.
- Support M365 migrations, upgrades and platform enhancements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve productivity through Microsoft technologies and AI capabilities.
- Contribute to testing, deployment and ongoing support activities.
- Monitor Microsoft roadmaps and service updates, assessing new features and improvements.
- Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Support security, compliance, retention and disaster recovery requirements across the M365 estate.

Experience Required
- Proven hands-on Microsoft 365 engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, OneDrive and Entra ID.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security, governance and compliance features.
- Recent experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Copilot and/or Copilot Studio.
- Understanding of AI governance, data privacy and compliance considerations.
- Experience working within large enterprise environments.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
- Financial Services or other highly regulated industry experience preferred.
