Microsoft AI Architect – Professional Services/Consultancy
Up to £120,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Remote UK | Occasional Client Travel
Join a growing AI consulting practice within a global consultancy delivering enterprise AI solutions for major UK organisations, taking projects from early discovery and proof of concept through to secure, scalable production environments.
This is a senior architecture role combining client consulting, technical leadership and hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft AI ecosystem.
You’ll design solutions across Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning and enterprise data, helping clients understand where AI can deliver genuine business value and how to implement it successfully.
Microsoft AI Foundry and Copilot Studio experience are essential. You’ll need to understand how these technologies fit into wider enterprise architecture, data, security and governance rather than simply having experimented with them.

What you’ll be doing
- Architect enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft technologies
- Design solutions using Microsoft AI Foundry and Copilot Studio
- Build architectures around Generative AI, LLMs, RAG and AI Agents
- Take AI solutions from discovery and prototype through to production
- Define AI architecture patterns, frameworks and technical standards
- Advise clients on AI strategy, architecture and technology choices
- Design secure, governed and responsible AI solutions
- Provide technical leadership across engineering and delivery teams
- Create reusable AI accelerators and reference architectures
- Work directly with senior technical and business stakeholders
What you’ll need
- Strong Microsoft AI Foundry experience
- Strong Microsoft Copilot Studio experience
- Enterprise AI architecture and solution design experience
- Generative AI, LLM, RAG and Agentic AI knowledge
- Azure and wider Microsoft technology experience
- Experience delivering production AI solutions, not just proof of concepts
- Understanding of AI security, governance and Responsible AI
- Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder skills
- Ability to translate technical AI capability into measurable business outcomes

Experience with Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Agent Framework, Azure Machine Learning, Power Platform, LangChain, LangGraph, MLOps or LLMOps would also be beneficial.
