About the role:
Our consultancy client is looking for a seasoned Dynamics 365 CRM Consultant who can step into a project with confidence, shape solutions, and guide stakeholders through best‑practice CRM design. This contract sits outside IR35, offers predominantly remote working, and requires only ad‑hoc travel to London for key workshops or stakeholder sessions.
The ideal consultant brings strong functional expertise across D365 CE modules, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, user‑friendly CRM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional design, configuration, and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, etc.).
- Conduct workshops to gather requirements, challenge assumptions, and define robust CRM processes.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, solution designs, and configuration tasks.
- Configure entities, forms, views, workflows, business rules, security roles, dashboards, and automations.
- Support integrations with other systems (e.g., ERP, marketing platforms, data warehouses).
- Collaborate with technical teams on customisations, plugins, Power Automate flows, and API integrations.
- Provide guidance on best‑practice CRM governance, data quality, and user adoption.
- Assist with testing cycles, UAT, training materials, and go‑live support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and CRM capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 CRM / CE Consultant in medium‑to‑large transformation programmes.
- Strong functional knowledge of D365 modules: Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service (nice to have).
- Hands‑on configuration experience across core CRM components.
- Solid understanding of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).
- Experience delivering workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with integration patterns, data migration approaches, and CRM governance.
- Excellent documentation skills (functional specs, process maps, configuration guides).

Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Azure services, API integrations, or DevOps pipelines.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools or customer journey orchestration.
- Certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform.
- Experience in the media sector.
