Role Overview
Title – Microsoft Data Protection and Secure Collaboration Architect
Location: London, UK (Hybrid - 3 days in a week from client office)
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Information Protection Specialist to assess the existing Echoworx BeSecure solution and design a cost-effective approach for secure customer and partner communications, leveraging Microsoft 365 capabilities wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current Echoworx BeSecure usage for encrypted emails and large-file transfers.
- Evaluate Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Information Protection, sensitivity labels, and encryption capabilities.
- Design secure external sharing solutions using SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft email encryption.
- Compare Microsoft-native solutions with specialist tools, identifying cost savings, security risks, compliance requirements, and functionality gaps.
- Design and deliver a proof of concept (PoC) to validate the proposed solution.
- Develop target architecture, migration roadmap, and implementation plans.
- Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to assess usability, security, and business requirements.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Information Protection.
- Expertise in sensitivity labelling, encryption, and information protection policies.
- Practical experience with Microsoft 365 secure external sharing, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and encrypted email.
- Experience assessing secure file-transfer solutions and designing Microsoft-native alternatives.
- Proven ability to deliver PoCs, architecture documentation, cost-benefit analysis, and migration strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
