Microsoft Data Protection and Secure Collaboration Architect
Location - Remote, UK
If required can travel 1- 2 days from office
Job Description
We need someone to assess the current use of Echoworx BeSecure and design and test a more cost-effective future approach for secure customer and partner communications using our existing Microsoft estate where possible.
High-level requirements:
- Strong Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Information Protection, sensitivity labelling and encryption experience.
- Practical experience designing secure external sharing through Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft email encryption.
- Able to assess current large-file transfer and encrypted-email use cases, including customer and partner journeys, usability, control and compliance needs.
- Able to compare options, identify where Microsoft-native capability is sufficient and highlight any residual gaps that may still require a specialist transfer solution.
- Capable of designing and delivering a proof of concept, documenting the target architecture and defining a practical migration and implementation approach.
- Comfortable engaging technical teams and business stakeholders, and producing a clear cost, risk and user-experience comparison.
