About the Role

This is a senior technical leadership role for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Architect who thrives on designing and delivering complex ERP solutions.

You will be responsible for defining the technical architecture, solution design, integration strategy, and development standards across Business Central programmes while working closely with customers, consultants, project managers, and delivery teams.

The role combines technical leadership, client engagement, and hands-on architectural ownership. You will influence solution direction from presales through implementation and ongoing optimisation, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned to business objectives.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients and play a key role in developing Codec's Business Central capability and architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

  • Own end-to-end technical architecture for Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable Business Central solutions across finance, operations, manufacturing, distribution, and service management.
  • Define architecture standards, governance processes, and best practices.
  • Develop high-level and detailed technical solution designs.
  • Lead technical design authority and architecture review sessions.
  • Ensure solutions align with Microsoft's recommended architecture patterns.
  • Delivering development tasks within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Development of interfaces to/from Business Central with external applications.
  • Development of workflow and reports.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
