About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM) Pre-Sales Specialist to support our sales and consulting teams in identifying opportunities, understanding customer business requirements, designing solution approaches, and developing compelling proposals.
The ideal candidate will have strong functional and solution architecture expertise across D365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Project Operations, and related Microsoft technologies, along with excellent customer-facing and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Business Development
- Partner with sales/account teams to identify and qualify D365 F&SCM opportunities.
- Participate in customer discovery sessions, workshops, demonstrations, and executive presentations.
- Understand customer business challenges and translate them into Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Develop solution concepts, proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and high-level implementation approaches.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, including solution design, scope definition, assumptions, estimates, and effort sizing.
- Present D365 F&SCM capabilities and business value to prospects and existing customers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the sales cycle.
Solution Architecture
- Design end-to-end D365 F&SCM solutions aligned with customer business processes and industry requirements.
- Develop solution architecture, high-level process flows, integration approaches, and implementation roadmaps.
- Assess current-state environments and recommend future-state D365 solutions.
- Identify functional gaps, customization requirements, integrations, data migration considerations, and ISV solutions.
- Work closely with technical architects to define integrations with Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, third-party applications, and other enterprise systems.
- Ensure proposed solutions follow Microsoft and industry best practices.

Demonstrations & Workshops
- Conduct tailored D365 F&SCM demonstrations based on customer requirements.
- Develop demonstration scripts, scenarios, presentations, and proof-of-concept materials.
- Lead discovery and requirements workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate complex D365 functionality into clear business outcomes and value propositions.
Estimation & Proposal Support
- Develop high-level implementation estimates and resource plans.
- Define project phases, deliverables, timelines, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to validate estimates and implementation approaches.
- Contribute to pricing models and commercial proposals.
- Support sales teams in preparing compelling presentations and executive-level proposals.

Microsoft Ecosystem
Working knowledge of the broader Microsoft ecosystem is highly desirable, including:

- Copilot and Microsoft AI capabilities
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
- Strong hands-on experience with D365 F&SCM implementations and solution design.
- Proven experience in a Pre-Sales, Solution Architect, Functional Architect, or Consulting role.
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes and enterprise solution architecture.
- Experience participating in RFP/RFI responses and proposal development.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience working with global customers and distributed teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications, particularly MB-300, MB-310, MB-330, or related certifications.
- Experience working with Microsoft Cloud solutions.
- Experience with D365 F&SCM implementation methodologies.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, professional services, or other relevant industries.
- Experience with global ERP transformation programs.
- Experience working with Microsoft partners or consulting organizations.
- Understanding of Power Platform, Azure, Power BI, and integration technologies.
