About the Company
Our client is undertaking a significant Finance transformation programme involving the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (FSCM).
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, qualified Systems Accountant to work client-side, embedded within the finance team, acting as the key finance stakeholder and subject matter expert throughout the programme. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring someone who can bridge Finance, IT and the implementation partner — translating business requirements into system solutions while maintaining the integrity of financial data and processes throughout the transition.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary finance subject matter expert for the D365 FSCM implementation, representing Finance in all system design and configuration decisions
- Ensure financial data integrity throughout the transformation including data migration, cleansing and validation
- Own and maintain AP, AR and GL processes during the transition, ensuring continuity of financial operations
- Work closely with the programme team, IT and the implementation partner to align system requirements with financial reporting needs
- Identify and resolve process gaps, supporting the design of improved end-to-end finance workflows
- Produce financial reports and management information to support the business during the transformation period
- Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide training to finance staff on new D365 FSCM processes
- Support cutover planning, go-live and post-implementation stabilisation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
