Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer | Contract | London (Hybrid)
Location: West London, 2 days onsite per week
Contract: 3 months initially, with potential extensions
Start: ASAP
Day Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
The Opportunity
We're recruiting an experienced Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer to join an established development team delivering a brand-new case management platform for a large, well-established organisation.
This is a genuinely interesting greenfield project, building a new solution from the ground up using Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Pages and the wider Microsoft Power Platform. The platform will manage sensitive, people-focused cases, bringing together external-facing forms, internal case management, automated workflows and business process flows. You'll be joining a collaborative team of experienced Dynamics developers, working in an agile environment with a clear delivery roadmap and several planned phases.
We're looking for someone who can do more than simply build what's been specified.
The team wants an experienced developer who can challenge requirements, recommend better approaches and recognise when out-of-the-box functionality can achieve the same result without unnecessary customisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and customising Dynamics 365 applications, with a particular focus on case management.
- Building model-driven applications using Dataverse, including tables, forms, views, business rules and business process flows.
- Developing Power Pages forms and portals to capture information from external users.
- Building and maintaining Power Automate workflows to support case routing, notifications and operational processes.
- Developing JavaScript and C# plugins where standard platform functionality isn't sufficient.
- Working closely with business analysts, technical leads and other developers to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Challenging functional designs and recommending simpler, more efficient approaches where appropriate.
- Contributing to agile sprint planning, estimation and delivery.
- Managing changes and deployments within a shared Dynamics environment, following good development and release practices.
- Delivering clean, maintainable solutions that can evolve as the platform develops.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
