D365 F&O Business Analyst / Functional Consultant
12-Month Contract
Hertfordshire

I am looking for a well-rounded D365 Finance & Operations Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to join a global business on a long-term contract. This is a hands-on role requiring someone with a strong Finance background, broad D365 F&O knowledge, and enough technical understanding to investigate issues and work effectively across Finance, operations, IT and users. You’ll be helping optimise D365 across Finance, inventory, manufacturing and supply chain, as well as improving reporting, supporting users and helping redesign key Finance documentation, including invoices and other financial documents.

I am particularly interested in experience across:
- D365 Finance & Operations, ideally within manufacturing or a stock-intensive environment
- A strong Finance / accounting background and understanding of financial postings
- Inventory, stock valuation, costing and FIFO
- Power BI and financial/management reporting
- D365 Electronic Reporting (ER), particularly around invoices and Finance documents
- Intercompany processes and transactions
- International D365 deployments or rollouts into other countries
- Strong user support, training and troubleshooting skills
- Requirements gathering, process mapping, testing and continuous improvement

This will suit someone who is well rounded, hands-on and comfortable getting into the detail, supporting users and resolving real-world Finance and operational issues specifically on the BA side
