Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Will You Be Doing?

You will lead end-to-end technical delivery of solutions for our Customer Engagement Platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. Ensure solutions are designed and engineered using appropriate methods and tools, aligned to organisational strategy, security, and standards. Drive adoption of best practices in solution architecture and ALM to meet business goals, deliver value to stakeholders, and manage technical risk. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

What Do We Need From You?

  • Lead and take ownership across all stages and iterations of Dynamics delivery.
  • Plan, drive, and evaluate Dataverse solution construction (tables, relationships, forms, views, model-driven apps) aligning with engineering and security standards
  • Design and implement server-side extensions (C# plug-ins, custom workflow activities) and client-side behaviours (TypeScript/JavaScript, form/context APIs)
  • Define and execute robust integration patterns using Azure Functions, Service Bus, Webhooks, virtual tables and API Management; ensure observability with Application Insights
  • Automate business processes with Power Automate (cloud flows) with error handling
  • Establish ALM practices: solution layering, environment strategies, CI/CD using Power Platform Build Tools and Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
  • Assure security-by-design (environment roles, security roles, field security, DLP policies) and compliance (auditing, GDPR)
  • Set quality standards via reviews, Solution Checker, static analysis and test automation
  • Optimise performance and scalability (plugin pipeline optimisation, batching, concurrency controls, index strategy)
  • Provide production support leadership, troubleshooting complex incidents and driving root-cause remediation via controlled releases.
  • Evaluate emerging platform capabilities and their organisational impact. Champion continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
