Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer
£500-550 p/day via umbrella company
Initial 6-Month Contract
Remote with infrequent client workshops
We're supporting a growing consultancy delivering enterprise data and AI programmes and are looking for a hands-on Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to join the team. This role will focus on the design and delivery of modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric. You'll work closely with clients to build scalable solutions, contribute to data strategy discussions and help guide organisations through their data transformation journey.

Key Requirement
We're looking for someone who is hands-on technically but also understands how data platforms should be structured. Experience designing and implementing solutions using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver and Gold layers) is highly desirable, alongside the ability to advise clients on best practice and platform design.

- Strong hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience
- More than a traditional pipeline-focused Data Engineer
- Understands data architecture principles and platform design
- Comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders
- Able to operate independently and add value from day one
