Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer – Major Enterprise Migration
£400–£500 per day | Outside IR35
6-month contract | Strong extension potential
Hybrid – Greater Stockport
Work with a globally recognised MedTech organisation whose technology supports scientific and healthcare innovation across markets around the world. The business is growing rapidly and investing heavily in the infrastructure required to support its expanding global footprint.
As part of this growth, you'll join a major tenant-to-tenant migration and infrastructure transformation, working across a large hybrid estate. The role is firmly centred on VMware, Windows Server and Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Azure.

Responsibilities
- Support VMware and Microsoft enterprise infrastructure across a global estate.
- Contribute to the major tenant-to-tenant migration and wider infrastructure transformation.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments.

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware and Windows Server in enterprise environments.
- Experience across Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Nutanix and/or Rubrik experience would be beneficial.
Contract Details
- Day rate: £400–£500 per day
- IR35: Outside IR35
- Duration: 6 months initially, with strong extension potential
- Working model: Hybrid – Greater Stockport
