Company Description

We’re an ambitious, forward-thinking global business who build transformative solutions for our customers to deliver best-in-class sustainable mobility, connectivity and technology solutions. We support our customers with a range of products and services to meet their needs.

This is where you come in. We are on a journey of growth. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of technology innovation and we invite you along on this journey.

Job Description

Are you a driven new business sales professional who thrives on opening doors, creating opportunities, and winning new customers?

We are looking for a highly motivated Microsoft New Business Specialist to join our growing team. This is a pure new business role focused on identifying, engaging, and converting prospective customers across Microsoft solutions and licensing.

While marketing campaigns and internal data will provide some support, the majority of success in this role will come from proactive prospecting, networking, outreach, and building a strong pipeline through self-generated opportunities.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of hunting for new business, is commercially driven, and has a passion for helping customers realise the value of Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through a combination of outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and targeted campaigns.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent business development activity.
  • Engage with decision-makers across SMB and Mid-Market organisations to understand business challenges and identify opportunities.
  • Position and sell Microsoft licensing solutions, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, and Modern Workplace offerings.
  • Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and demonstrations with prospective customers.
  • Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and marketing teams to develop winning customer propositions.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity records, forecasts, and activity within CRM systems.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft's licensing programmes, funding initiatives, incentives, and market developments.

Note: This is a predominantly new business acquisition role. Whilst leads and data will be provided, successful candidates will be expected to generate a significant proportion of their own opportunities through proactive business development activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
