Microsoft Power Platform CoPilot Architect
London, UK (Hybrid)
6 Months contract with possible extension
Primary Skills:
Strong hands on experience with:
- Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Power Automate Cloud Desktop
- Power Apps Canvas Model Driven
- Dataverse
Experience integrating backend systems using connectors GRAPH APIs Azure Functions Dataverse 3rd party
Secondary Skills:
- Experience in building LLM apps agents
- Hands on with Azure AI Foundry project hubs deployments prompt flows evaluations
- Strong in Python TypeScript for agent logic function calling and API integrations
- Solid understanding of LLM prompting system prompts few shot patterns and safety guardrails
- Experience with Azure services AI Search, OpenAPI, OSS model deployments, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Event Grid, Service Bus
- Knowledge of RAG design, chunking strategies, embeddings, hybrid search, rerankers
- Proficient in CICD, IaC, observability, and cost optimization for LLM workloads
Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Copilot Studio Power Platform Architect with strong hands on expertise across Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and enterprise grade integrations. The ideal candidate will design and develop intelligent workflows, copilots, and automation solutions leveraging modern LLM capabilities, prompt engineering, and Graph API integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
Copilot Studio Development:
- Build, extend, and maintain copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio including topics, entity extraction, actions, and generative answers
- Develop custom extensions using Power Automate custom connectors and APIs
- Integrate copilots with enterprise data sources such as Dataverse, Graph API, SharePoint, Azure Functions, and external services
Power Platform Engineering:
- Design and develop Power Automate flows, cloud desktop, business process flows
- Build Canvas Apps and Model Driven Apps with responsive UI and Dataverse backed data models
- Implement Dataverse schema, tables, relationships, business rules, calculated columns
- Apply ALM practices using ADO, GitHub including solution packaging, deployments

Integrations & Connectors:
- Use custom connectors and Power Platform connectors to integrate backend systems
- REST APIs, Azure Functions, Dataverse, Third party services (SAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.)
- Ensure secure authentication (OAuth2, Azure AD), throttling management, and robust exception handling
Prompt Engineering & LLM Applications:
- Design high quality prompts, system instructions, and few shot examples for LLM powered copilots
- Apply grounding using enterprise data, Dataverse, SharePoint APIs
- Work with hybrid vector retrieval and RAG patterns where required
Microsoft Graph API:
- Implement secure integration with Microsoft Graph API to access and manipulate:
- M365 users, groups
- Mail, calendar
- Files, drives
- Teams channels
- Create Graph-powered automations inside Power Automate and copilots
