Microsoft 365 Security Architect

Permanent | Remote (UK) | Up to £90,000 | Immediate Start

Are you an experienced Microsoft 365 Security Architect looking to join a leading Microsoft Solutions Partner delivering enterprise security transformations across the UK?

We're looking for a technically strong consultant who can design, implement and advise on secure Microsoft cloud environments for a broad portfolio of enterprise customers. This is a customer-facing architecture role where you'll influence security strategy, lead technical workshops and deliver modern Microsoft security solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Design and deliver Microsoft 365 and Azure security architectures for enterprise customers.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions and provide security consultancy throughout project delivery.
  • Develop Zero Trust strategies covering identity, endpoint, network and cloud security.
  • Produce high-quality technical designs, architecture documentation and implementation guidance.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure best practice and successful project outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout the engagement lifecycle.

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience designing and implementing Microsoft 365 and Azure security solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of Azure infrastructure, networking and cloud security architecture.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Entra Private Access.
  • Hands-on experience across the Microsoft Security stack, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Purview.
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking and security technologies, including Azure Firewall, NSGs and network segmentation, with exposure to third-party security appliances being advantageous.
  • Experience deploying and managing Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint security.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused solutions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and technical documentation skills.

Desirable

  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-500, SC-100 or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC/SDLC) principles.
  • Knowledge of data protection, compliance and governance frameworks.
  • Experience working within structured project delivery methodologies.
