About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Services Business Lead to manage and grow customer relationships across the UKI market. This is a customer-facing role combining Account Management, Microsoft Services knowledge and technical pre-sales. You will understand customer requirements, identify suitable solutions, lead commercial and solution discussions, and work closely with technical specialists who manage implementation and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth
- Manage and develop strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Understand customers’ technology environments, business priorities and evolving requirements.
- Identify renewal, upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Microsoft and IT services.
- Conduct regular account reviews and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline.
- Manage commercial discussions, proposals and negotiations through to closure.
Technical Discovery & Pre-Sales
- Lead customer discovery meetings and translate requirements into appropriate technology solutions.
- Provide solution guidance across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, IT Support, Desktop Services, Cloud and Cybersecurity.
- Confidently lead both technical and commercial conversations with customer stakeholders.
- Develop proposals and solution presentations in collaboration with technical specialists.
- Ensure proposed solutions are practical, commercially viable and aligned with customer requirements.

Customer & Delivery Coordination
- Act as the key link between customers and internal technical teams.
- Translate customer requirements into clear briefs for implementation and delivery.
- Coordinate with technical teams throughout the customer lifecycle to maintain alignment and service quality.
- Maintain ownership of the customer relationship while specialist teams deliver the technical solution.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years’ experience in Account Management, Microsoft Services, Managed IT Services or technology solutions.
- Strong track record of managing and growing B2B customer accounts.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related Microsoft technologies.
- Exposure to IT Support, Cloud, Cybersecurity, SharePoint and infrastructure services.
- Experience in technical discovery, solution positioning and pre-sales.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert account-growth opportunities.
- Confident engaging with senior business and technology decision-makers.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical specialists and translate between customer requirements and technical solutions.

You should be able to understand what a customer needs, confidently discuss the available technology options, shape the right solution and develop the relationship into a long-term business partnership.
