Over the past decade, Westcoast Cloud has experienced substantial growth. The team now comprises over 70 members, and the company is recognised as a leading Cloud Solution Provider. Westcoast Cloud has been honoured multiple times with the Cloud Distributor of the Year award at the CRN UK Channel Awards, in addition to winning numerous CRN Marketing awards.

This position is offered on a hybrid basis, allowing work from our modern offices in Theale, Reading (near M4 Junction 12), which feature ample parking and are conveniently located near Theale Train Station.

The Job Role

You’ll play a key part in the growth of the Westcoast Cloud business, through identifying new reseller opportunities across the UK and Ireland. You’ll open and build the relationship with existing resellers, qualifying the opportunities and seeing them through the Westcoast Cloud expertise and offerings, as well as assisting your team in helping them accelerate Microsoft’s Partner Offerings.

You’ll visit customer sites for meetings, presenting the full range of Cloud products and services – selling the benefits, running training bootcamps, lunch and learns and attending our range of events.

As the main point of contact for our Surestep ambassadors, yourself and your team will be expected to deliver a high level of customer service when supporting them with queries and issues and going above and beyond to provide support where and when necessary.

You’ll need some previous experience selling within the IT channel, either at a distributor or reseller, ideally with experience with either Microsoft or Cloud. You’ll have a track record in new business development, as well as a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, hard-working environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
