ICC Administrator Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Mid Furness and Millom Integrated Care Community (ICC) Team as an ICC Administrator.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised administrator who is passionate about supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and helping to reduce health inequalities across the Mid Furness and Millom communities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organisational, communication and IT skills to join our busy and supportive ICC team. You should have relevant administrative experience and the ability to work flexibly, prioritise workloads and provide effective support across a range of teams and services.
Role Responsibilities
As an ICC Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the Integrated Care Community Team. Duties will include:
- Providing administrative support to the clinical team
- Supporting telephone enquiries including direct contact with patients and service users
- Arranging meetings and preparing agendas, minutes and documentation
- Maintaining accurate records
- Preparing presentations
- Supporting multidisciplinary team meetings
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the ICC’s population health approach

Duties
- Clerical support to the ICC Core Team to enable the smooth running of the ICC
- Provide non-clinical telephone support to patients which enables clinicians to focus on clinical functions whilst delivering a patient focused service
- Provide administrative services to the ICC and team members in support of a wide range of initiatives to include data extraction, preparing presentations, documentation and materials
- Agenda preparation, minute taking and compiling meeting documentation for a variety of meetings including ICC Team Meetings and MDT Meetings
- Maintain a suitable archive to facilitate document recovery in line with organisational policies and procedures. This encompasses both electronic and manual systems as required
- Regular liaison with a range of partners across our ICC footprint
- Be part of a fun and vibrant team, contributing your ideas for improvements and supporting continuous development of Mid Furness and Millom ICC
About Us
We operate from three main hospitals—Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.

FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.
WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.
All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
This role will be working within Bay ICC which includes close working with Bay Primary Care Network and Bay Medical Group.
