About Rezzil

Rezzil creates innovative sports technology products across performance, gaming and broadcast. Our products serve professional teams, athletes, broadcasters and consumers, spanning VR, mobile, console and real-time 3D experiences.

Our exar.live platform provides the ingest and data transport infrastructure for live sports data, powering our own analysis tools, broadcast solutions, augmented reality graphics and virtual production experiences. Alongside continuing to develop our existing products, we are expanding into new areas including computer vision and AI-led sports technology.

Rezzil is based in Manchester and London, with flexible and hybrid working options available depending on the role.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and aspirational mid-level developer to join our growing team as we enter the next chapter in Rezzil’s history - your responsibilities would include maintenance and development of existing products and codebases as well as opportunities to work on greenfield projects in the future.

You would be providing guidance and feedback on work from others and contributing towards our best practice mindset and processes, while supporting senior developers in achieving deadlines, and supporting junior developers to ensure the product is built to standard and specification.

Required Skills

There will always be room to learn and develop, but as a minimum we require some proficiency in:

  • PHP/Laravel
  • Docker
  • NodeJS/JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Database design and management skills
  • Linux/macOS maintenance and management including competency with a command line
  • WebSocket or Socket.IO based development
  • Kanban workflows/basic Scrum knowledge
  • Unit/feature/integration testing

In addition to the above, we’d especially like to hear from you if you have the following proficiencies, though these aren’t required:

  • Go
  • SQLite experience
  • React
  • Ansible/AWS/bare metal hosting platforms or general DevOps experience
  • HTTP3/QUIC stream development experience
  • Three.js
  • HLS/DASH/RTMP/SRT/WebRTC video streaming
  • Redis/KeyDB/Queue-based architecture in general
  • Real-time pipeline-based processing
