About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Engineering Consultant to join our dynamic team at Daemon. In this role, you will work on exciting client projects, primarily focusing on designing and delivering cloud-based solutions across platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. You will play a crucial part in implementing REST APIs, developing custom modules, and integrating third-party services to support our clients' digital transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, share your expertise, and contribute to continuous process improvements within the team. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of development experience, with a strong background in cloud services and API integration. You should possess excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and technical teams alike. A solid understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and version control systems such as GitHub is essential. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, as well as familiarity with Agile methodologies, will be advantageous. We also value candidates who demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and show a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Implement REST APIs and interfaces on cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring secure and scalable solutions.
- Participate in the development, support, and maintenance of existing cloud-based solutions, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Contribute to enhancing the team's development processes through best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop custom modules and integrate third-party solutions to meet client-specific needs.
- Maintain a strong understanding of cloud services, including compute, storage, and networking components.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Engage with non-technical stakeholders to communicate technical concepts effectively and understand client requirements.
- Work closely with the Head of Engineering and senior consultants to deliver high-quality projects on time and within scope.
