Mid-Level Low-Code Developers

Job location: Guilford, Surrey, UK (2 days per week)

This is a free training course followed by the potential for a role with one of our clients.

The Role

Our clients are looking for Mid-Level Low-Code Developers to join their team.

About You & The Role

Our clients are looking for a Mid-Level Low-Code Developer to join their team and help design, build, and maintain smart, scalable business solutions using modern low-code platforms. In this role, you will work across Microsoft Power Platform, Airtable, and Power BI to turn real business problems into practical, well-built applications, dashboards, and automations. This role suits someone curious about how things work under the hood, excited by where AI, automation, and vibe coding are taking the industry, and who brings a proactive, adaptable mindset to collaborative problem-solving.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of hands-on commercial experience in a low-code development, business systems, or automation role.

Platform Expertise

  • Solid experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) or Airtable (automations, interfaces, relational bases); experience with both is a strong plus.

Data & Analytics

  • Experience building insightful reports and dashboards in Power BI, including core data modelling skills.

Desirable Exposure

  • Basic experience with JavaScript (extending low-code, custom scripts), Python (automation, scripting, data processing), APIs (integrating third-party services), Dataverse/SharePoint/M365 tools, and AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT).

Some Things You'll Be Working On

  • Low-Code Development: Designing, building, and maintaining applications, workflows, and automations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and Airtable.
  • BI & Data Visualisation: Developing clear, insightful dashboards and reports in Power BI, including data modelling and DAX calculations.
  • Requirements Translation: Translating business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders into practical, well-built low-code solutions.
  • AI-Assisted Development: Utilising AI-assisted tools and vibe coding techniques to accelerate development, rapid prototyping, and problem-solving.
  • Pro-Code Extension: Writing light pro-code in JavaScript or Python where needed to extend low-code platforms with custom scripts, connectors, or API integrations.
  • Process Automation: Identifying opportunities to automate manual or repetitive processes across internal and client workflows.
  • Quality Assurance & Maintenance: Testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions to ensure reliability, security, and seamless handovers.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Collaborating closely with the wider development team, sharing insights, and staying up to date with low-code and AI best practices.
