About Swanky

We’re Swanky, a fast-growing global ecommerce agency. We design, build and grow Shopify Plus stores that convert. Our clients are ambitious brands, and we help them thrive with world-class Shopify solutions.

About the Role

We’re looking for a mid-level frontend Shopify developer with 1–2+ years of hands-on experience working with the platform. You’ll be focused on from-theme builds and custom theme development on Shopify Store 2.0, delivering elegant, scalable solutions for our clients.

You’ll work alongside developers, designers, solutions engineers, analysts, and project managers—collaborating daily while also being a go-to technical problem solver. Some days you’ll be deep in custom section builds; others, you’ll be advising project managers on technical scope, reviewing code, or contributing to our development standards and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, deploy, and maintain performant Shopify themes in line with best practices.
  • Deliver creative technical solutions to support complex ecommerce requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards for quality and maintainability.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to scope, design, and implement new features.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to team learning, culture, and process improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
