Software Engineer (TypeScript / Python / AWS)
Fully Remote (UK) | Up to £55,000 | One-Stage Interview Process
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join a collaborative, AI-first engineering team building and maintaining cloud-native applications on AWS.
This is a hands-on role where you'll develop new features, improve existing applications and help evolve a modern cloud platform using TypeScript, Python and AWS. You'll work across the full software delivery lifecycle - from development and infrastructure through to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining applications using TypeScript and Python.
- Developing and managing cloud infrastructure with AWS, CDK, and Terraform.
- Working across CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and GitHub-based workflows.
- Improving application reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborating closely with a small engineering team to deliver high-quality software.

What we're looking for
- Commercial experience with TypeScript, Python, and AWS.
- Experience deploying and supporting production workloads in AWS.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD.
- Django experience would be a strong advantage, but is not essential.
- Someone who enjoys working across the full development lifecycle and taking ownership of solutions.
