The Team You’ll Join

The Trade Marketing team serves as the primary contact for Future’s Commercial team and champions and communicates Future’s brand to our advertising partners through strategic marketing campaigns and creative storytelling.

Trade Marketing is responsible for Future brand building, PR, sales collateral, and client engagement events. The team also generates audience insights that bring our monthly audiences of over 300 million to life for our commercial teams and advertisers. The objective of the team is to drive awareness of Future and create commercial opportunities through sales collaterals, case studies, events, email and PR. Our team drives brand and tentpole moments across a diverse portfolio of titles.

What you'll do

The Trade Marketing Designer is a key position within the Trade Marketing team, you’re primarily responsible for bringing our brand to life and to visually communicate our brand to our advertiser audiences around the world.

Reporting to the Lead Trade Marketing Designer, the aim of this role is to deliver compelling marketing materials that engage our clients and visually set us apart from the competition. This post will create awareness of the Future brand through design of presentations, templates, HTML emails and landing pages, infographics, social assets, and sales materials.

Over this 6 month fixed term contract, you will work alongside marketing leadership based in the UK, and our wider design teams to help bring ideas to life. The ability to communicate with multi-disciplinary teams while managing your workload is the key to success in this role.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience creating compelling designs for commercial teams, ideally within digital media, publishing or an advertising environment.
  • Strong awareness of current creative trends and the ability to apply them to design projects.
  • Understanding of HTML would be advantageous.
  • A strategic and creative thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong work ethic, a can-do attitude and the confidence to develop bold, innovative creative ideas.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience creating brand-building collateral and marketing materials for commercial or revenue-generating teams.
  • Experience in media, advertising or an international, multi-brand environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver compelling designs across multiple formats, including digital, social, email, print and events.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, and Google Workspace, especially Slides. Experience with HTML, email design and landing pages is desirable.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience building relationships and working effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines, adapt to change and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
