Mid-Market Sales Executive – B2B SaaS / RegTech
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 basic + 50% OTE (uncapped)
Location: Yorkshire/Hybrid.
Hybrid working – typically 2–3 days per week in the office for locally based candidates. There may be greater flexibility for candidates based further afield who bring particularly strong AML/compliance SaaS experience.
Better Placed are working with a high-growth, PE-backed B2B SaaS business within the RegTech space who are looking to appoint an experienced Mid-Market Sales Executive as they continue to grow their commercial team.
This is a predominantly new business role, focused on winning new logos across the mid-market and selling a market-leading technology solution into regulated and unregulated organisations. You’ll manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from discovery and product demonstrations through to business case development, negotiation and close, engaging with senior and C-suite decision-makers throughout.

There’s also a strong support structure in place, with the successful individual paired with a dedicated Sales Associate who will support with prospecting, lead generation and diary booking, allowing you to focus more of your time on progressing and closing opportunities.
The opportunity:
- Base salary up to £65,000
- 50% OTE, uncapped – c.£95k–£100k package at target
- Annual new business target of c.£350k–£400k
- Typical deal values of £5k–£30k
- Predominantly new-logo acquisition
- Dedicated Sales Associate supporting prospecting and lead generation

What we’re looking for:
- You’ll need a proven background in B2B SaaS sales, with experience of managing and closing your own opportunities and a strong track record against revenue targets.
- Previous experience within AML, financial crime, compliance or a closely related regulated technology market is essential for this particular hire, alongside the ability to confidently discuss your previous targets, performance and sales numbers.
- Experience using structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger or SPIN would also be beneficial.
