Mid-Senior Designer

Burnley

Up to £37k

We’re working with a growing creative agency in Burnley looking to add a talented and creatively ambitious Mid-Senior Designer to their team.

Our Client

This is an ambitious agency that is growing successfully and building a strong reputation creatively. They’re a collaborative agency where multiple departments work closely together and culture is vitally important to them. They work 4 days a week in their studio.

The Role

Working closely with the Creative Director, you’ll help to deliver top quality design solutions to a broad range of clients, turning strategy and creative direction into clear distinct branding and visual systems, across print and digital outputs. Brand and digital design will be core parts of the role, as well as producing campaign materials and wider creative output. You’ll work closely with the client services, marketing and development teams too. The role has a real opportunity to influence the creative output of a growing agency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You

You’ll either be a Midweight Designer keen to progress to Senior, or perhaps already a Senior Designer, with an agency background. What is important is you are a strong, well-rounded designer, with experience across brand, print and digital. In particular, you will need to have strong digital and website design skills, with a solid understanding of typography, layout and design principles across print and digital channels. You’ll be comfortable working at pace across multiple projects, bringing high-quality thinking and craft skills to each project. They’re looking for a Designer who is creatively ambitious, with technical skills across Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma. Any experience of moving image is a bonus, as is an interest in AI tools and how they can support design.
