- Deconstruct & Distil: Ingest high-frequency, tactical briefs from a prominent client across consumer, small business, and corporate merchant tiers.
- Craft the Proposition: Define the precise strategy, messaging framework, and single-minded proposition (SMP) that will guide creative copywriters and designers.
- Own the Channel Architecture: Focus heavily on high-impact customer communications, building intelligent strategies optimised for email ecosystems, mobile applications, and social channels.
- Command the Room: Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior clients, regularly presenting strategies, defending your ideas live, and confidently demonstrating your expertise.
What You’ll Bring
- Agency Experience: Proven experience as a Strategist or Planner within a fast-paced creative, digital, or integrated marketing agency.
- Tactical Chops: Strong experience in communications planning, messaging frameworks, and lifecycle/CRM strategies, with a focus on email and app-led thinking rather than traditional TV or Out-of-Home (OOH). This role is not focused on Brand Identity, UI/UX, or Content Creation.
- Mindset: A resilient, proactive, “get stuck in” attitude. You are a self-starter who handles fast-paced environments and tight deadlines with confidence.
- Exceptional Communication: Natural confidence when presenting to clients, coupled with the resilience to navigate constructive debate and pushback.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical industry experience.
