This dynamic agency is searching for a confident, client-facing Strategist to lead the charge on their most prestigious account. You’ll be instrumental in crafting compelling narratives and optimizing digital journeys, directly influencing how millions of customers engage with a leading global brand. This role offers direct access to agency founders, a clear progression path into future strategic leadership, and the chance to escape corporate red tape, focusing purely on impactful strategy and execution.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deconstruct and Distil: Ingest high-frequency, tactical briefs across luxury consumer, small business, and corporate merchant tiers, transforming complex requirements into actionable strategies.
- Craft the Proposition: Define precise channel architecture, develop robust messaging frameworks, and articulate single-minded propositions (SMPs) that empower creative copywriters and designers.
- Own the Digital Journey: Spearhead high-impact customer communications, building intelligent strategies optimized for email ecosystems, mobile applications, and social channels.
- Command the Room: Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior clients, confidently leading presentations, demonstrating your expertise live, and skillfully defending your strategic choices under scrutiny.

What You’ll Bring
We are looking for a strategic powerhouse with a proven track record of driving results and a passion for innovative communications. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping the client’s brand voice and customer engagement across diverse digital touchpoints.
- Agency Experience: 3 to 6 years of proven experience as a Strategist or Planner within a UK marketing agency environment, with a strong preference for experience in a small or independent agency.
- True Comms Planning DNA: Deep expertise in traditional communications planning, including asset mapping, customer messaging, and meticulous creative brief writing.
- Tactical Channel Expertise: A rich portfolio showcasing high-volume email-led campaigns, sophisticated lifecycle CRM strategies, mobile application integrations, and targeted digital activations.
- Client Confidence: A natural presence when presenting to clients, coupled with the resilience to navigate constructive live debate and defend your work with authority.

- Sector Familiarity: Experience within financial services or premium B2C sectors is a definite advantage, though your core communications planning mechanics and agency agility are paramount.
