Role: Mid Weight Designer
Location: London, United Kingdom
About the role:
As an Integrated Designer with Motion, you'll work across the full production cycle — from initial brief through to completion — on a varied mix of digital, print, social, and motion projects for a global B2B client. You'll be equally comfortable working within established brand guidelines and bringing fresh creative thinking to new briefs. Motion and video are a genuine strength you'll draw on regularly: animating, editing, and producing content from concept through to delivery. This is a mid-level role with real creative scope and the expectation of independent delivery, strong quality control, and a proactive approach to your own development.
What you will be doing:
- Produce design work across digital, print, social, motion, and experiential — taking briefs from initial concept through to final delivery to the client's exacting standards.
- Create dynamic, well-crafted animations and videos using After Effects, including motion design, animation, video editing, and voiceover editing.
- Interpret and uplift existing content for new global brand visual identities — adding design flair while maintaining brand integrity.
- Develop and pitch new creative concepts to clients, clearly articulating the rationale behind your design decisions.
- Create storyboards and animation concepts that are visually impactful, clear, and easy to follow.
- Work with precision within brand guidelines and design toolkits, taking personal responsibility for quality control across all output.
- Build high-quality presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, and support production-led work when the brief requires it.
- Work with Figma on digital designs and design systems, ensuring responsive design principles are applied across platforms.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently, delivering to deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Share brand knowledge and constructive feedback with other designers, contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with social platform specs, digital design trends, and emerging design innovations — bringing new thinking to the team proactively.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
