Role Overview

We are looking for a talented Mid-weight Designer to join our Creative team, reporting to the Design Director. This is an opportunity to take real ownership of creative work for one of our key clients, developing ideas and bringing them to life across a wide range of channels and formats. From digital and social content to editorial, presentations, event branding and print, you’ll work across varied briefs and see your creative work through from initial concept to final delivery.

The role will primarily focus on a key client operating within the oil and energy sector, alongside opportunities to support projects across our wider client portfolio.

We’re looking for someone with strong creative instincts, excellent design craft and a sharp eye for detail – someone who can take a brief, develop a compelling creative response and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Development: Develop creative concepts that respond to client briefs and bring brands to life. Your work will span digital and print, editorial, social media, presentations, event branding and collateral, image retouching and more.
  • Concept to Delivery: Take projects from initial ideas and creative exploration through to final execution, balancing strong creative thinking with excellent attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Design Director, Junior and Senior Designers and teams across the agency to deliver cohesive, integrated creative work.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, creative reviews and presentations, helping to understand briefs, present ideas and develop work in response to feedback.
  • Brand Consistency: Create fresh and engaging work while ensuring that every execution remains true to the client’s brand and visual identity.
  • Fresh Thinking: Stay curious about design, culture, technology and emerging creative trends, bringing new ideas, inspiration and approaches into your work.
  • Mentorship: Share your knowledge and experience with Junior Designers, providing guidance, feedback and support to help them develop.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
