Effection is a boutique design studio based in Kensal Rise, London.
Over the past 10 years, we’ve built a reputation for delivering brave and innovative work with clarity and purpose. We are proud to have established our name in placemaking and commercial property marketing, creating identities and brand applications for both digital and physical environments.

We are looking for someone who wants to thrive in a small agency, enjoys getting stuck in and is ready to take the creative lead on projects.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
To be responsible for delivering high-quality creative work in a professional manner. Midweight Designers are at the core of the creative team and need to be able to produce high-quality work independently, requiring strategic direction and guidance from the Senior Creative team.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Creative work
- Interpret creative briefs and work independently to deliver professional-quality artwork.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of design and typography, with sound technical skills to create professional artwork across standard formats.
- Support senior team members while also being able to step up and take ownership of their projects when required.
- Take responsibility for delivering work to a high standard, from initial concepts through to final artwork.
- Ensure agreed processes and workflows are followed.
- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of branding.
- Confidently transition between print and digital projects.
- Contribute creatively to projects and bring ideas and solutions to the wider team.

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects.
- Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Figma.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to create cohesive visual identities and brand applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to work.
- A passion for staying up to date with design trends, technologies and industry developments.
