Mid-Weight Interior Designer

A distinguished Architecture & Interiors studio is seeking a Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join their growing team, renowned for delivering globally recognised hospitality destinations, branded residences, and luxury resort projects. From ultra-luxury resorts in the Maldives to high-profile international hotels and developments, their work is defined by a refined, forward-thinking design approach rooted in innovation and sustainability.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and detail-driven designer looking to take genuine ownership of their work and play an active role in shaping exceptional interiors on a global scale. Working closely with Senior Designers and Associates, you will contribute across all project stages from concept development through to technical delivery and site coordination while developing the confidence and experience to lead projects independently.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned project areas across hospitality, resort, and branded residential schemes, contributing from concept through to completion
  • Develop concept designs, spatial layouts, mood boards, FF&E proposals, and presentation materials with strong creative rationale
  • Produce and develop detailed drawing packages including GA plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, and RCPs
  • Manage FF&E sourcing, specifications, finishes, and schedules, ensuring alignment with design intent, budget, and programme
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and specialist makers to support seamless project delivery and resolve technical issues
  • Attend site visits and coordination meetings, supporting RFIs, snagging, and design resolution through construction stages

Requirements

  • 4–6 years’ experience in high-end hospitality, luxury residential, or commercial interior design
  • Experience working on hotel, resort, or branded residential projects is highly desirable
  • Strong conceptual and spatial design skills with the ability to develop and communicate clear design intent
  • Solid technical ability with experience producing detailed drawing packages and resolving design issues independently
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & InDesign), and Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of FF&E, materials, finishes, and bespoke detailing, with a passion for luxury interiors
