ABOUT CASCADE

Cascade is an AI-native, end-to-end filmmaking platform, built by filmmakers, for filmmakers. In one seamless, web-based environment, creators can go from first idea through script, storyboard, character generation, scene assembly and final edit – without leaving the platform. Our Open Beta is live, and we've moved from launch mode into growth – building a roster of creative partners and an audience of independent filmmakers and directors who are making the case for our platform. Alongside the platform, our studio delivers productions for clients and brands, and a steady stream of marketing content that shows what Cascade can do. Both are growing fast, and we need someone to keep it all moving.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a midweight Producer to take ownership of a growing portfolio of client and marketing projects, and to get them delivered on time, on budget and to a standard we're proud of. You'll be the person who turns a brief into a plan and a plan into a finished piece. That means scoping the work, building schedules, managing budgets, lining up the right people and keeping clients and internal stakeholders in the loop from kick-off to final delivery. Some weeks that's a client production or trailer; other weeks it's a run of product demos, launch content and social cuts for our own marketing. You'll work closely with the founders, our creative team, and the marketing team, with everything produced largely inside Cascade itself. This is a hands-on role at an early-stage startup: there's structure to build as well as projects to run, and we need someone who can start soon. You're passionate about film, TV and the wider screen industry: you watch widely, follow what's being made and who's making it, and care about how great work gets produced. You're also genuinely excited by emerging tech, curious about how AI is changing the way stories get told, and keen to be part of shaping what comes next.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project delivery

  • Own a portfolio of concurrent client and marketing projects from brief through to final delivery.
  • Scope each project with the team: deliverables, timelines, resources and budget.
  • Build and manage production schedules, keeping every project moving and flagging risks early.
  • Run kick-offs, status check-ins, review rounds and wrap-ups so nothing falls between the cracks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Client and stakeholder management

  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients on live productions, managing expectations, feedback and approvals.
  • Translate client and internal briefs into clear, actionable plans for the creative team.
  • Keep the founders and Head of Marketing updated on progress, budget and delivery across the portfolio.

Budgets and resourcing

  • Build, track and report on project budgets, keeping work profitable and on scope.
  • Plan team capacity across projects, and brief and manage freelancers where needed.
  • Handle change requests and scope creep calmly, with a clear view of cost and timeline impact.

Process and quality

  • Set up the production processes, templates and tools a growing studio needs: briefs, trackers, call sheets, delivery checklists.
  • Make sure every deliverable is checked, on-brand and meets spec before it goes out.
  • Keep assets, versions and files organised so the team can find what they need, fast.
  • Bring what you learn from each project back into how we work, so the next one runs smoother.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3-5 years' experience as a producer or project manager in a creative agency, production company, studio or in-house content team.
  • A track record of running several projects at once, from brief to delivery, without dropping the ball.
  • Solid understanding of the video and content production process, from pre-production through post.
  • Confident building and managing budgets and schedules, and comfortable talking numbers with clients.
  • Excellent client-facing skills: clear, calm and able to manage expectations and push back when needed.
  • Highly organised and detail-obsessed, with a knack for spotting problems before they become problems.
  • Comfortable with project management tools (e.g. Notion, Asana, Monday or similar) and quick to pick up new ones.
  • Genuine interest in AI tools and creative technology, and keen to work hands-on with them.
  • Dedicated and hands-on: happy to wear multiple hats in a fast-moving startup, where no task is above or below you.
  • Based in the UK, and available to start immediately.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience producing for brands or entertainment clients (film, TV, publishing, toys or games).
  • Experience producing AI-generated or VFX-heavy content.
  • Producing experience at an early-stage startup or a small, fast-growing studio.
  • A working knowledge of editing and post-production tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or Frame.io).
  • Experience producing short-form social content alongside longer-form work.
  • Film and entertainment fanatic.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive salary benchmarked against early-stage London tech.
  • A genuinely exciting product to work on, built by filmmakers, for filmmakers, at the frontier of AI.
  • Direct access to and collaboration with the founding team.
  • Remote working across the UK, with regular days together in London.
  • A team culture built on craft, speed and ambition. We take the work seriously, not ourselves.
  • The chance to shape how Cascade runs its productions as the studio grows.

OUR PRINCIPLES

We hire people who share these values:

  • We build from scratch, we do not maintain the status quo: Builder mindset
  • Everything we do is in service of the storytellers using our platform: Creator-first
  • Speed matters, and so does quality - we do not sacrifice one for the other: Move fast, ship well
  • We say what we think, give feedback clearly, and expect the same in return: Honest and direct
  • We use AI at every level, including in how we work and expect our team to do the same: AI-native

OUR BRAND VALUES

  • Story first. Always. Every decision exists in service of the story. Technology is the means. The story is the thing. Every product decision, every design choice, every line of copy exists to serve one purpose — getting great stories made.
  • Democratise great filmmaking. Talent is everywhere. Opportunity isn't. Cascade exists to level the playing field — so the best ideas get made regardless of budget, backing or postcode.
  • Supercharge the human. Don't replace them. Storytelling is an art. AI is a tool, not a creative director. The best work comes from people with vision, instinct and an understanding of performance, pacing and story. Cascade is designed to supercharge that talent — not replace it.
  • Slick by design. Relentless by nature. Cascade is built to be powerful, intuitive and genuinely easy to use. And we believe things can always be better, so we'll never stop listening, improving and working to support the people using Cascade.
